In December 2019, our company’s active power filter was installed to treat the test bench for harmonics. The initial equipment installation capacity was 300A. After filtering, the system harmonic current distortion rate dropped from the original 30% à 11%.

Solution harmonique:
To achieve better power quality effects, it was decided to expand the capacity of the active power filter equipment, and finally, the original active power filter equipment was increased to 750A. After the capacity increase, the system harmonic current distortion rate dropped to 4.8%.

Our active power filter (APF), the harmonic current distortion rate generated by the inverter in the system, has been significantly improved. The total harmonic distortion rate of the system has dropped from 36% à 4.3%, and the main harmonic distortion problems of 5/7/11/13 times have been significantly improved.
